Cookie policy of United Bulgarian Bank

We use cookies and other similar technologies to ensure the accessibility and usability of our websites, to provide certain functionality, for targeted advertising, statistical purposes and analysis.

What are cookies and why are they used

Cookies are small text files that are used to store information (data) and that are kept on the user’s computer or mobile device for a certain period of time. Cookies are most often used to record users’ activity performed during a visit to a website, as well as the users’ settings.

For the purposes of this Cookie Policy of United Bulgarian Bank AD ("Policy") "user", regardless of its use in singular/plural, lowercase or uppercase letter, will mean an individual who at some point interacts with a website or a web application. The interaction can be e.g. loading, navigating / viewing a particular website, submitting an online application for the purchase of a product or using a service, etc.

The website of United Bulgarian Bank AD (the "Bank") – www.kbcbank.bg, the website of the Choose to Help charity campaign – izberi.ubb.bg and eloan.kbcbank.bg (shortly jointly referred to as the "Website"), use cookies data files.

For the sake of clarity, when a particular type of Cookie is referred to in this Policy, the Processing of Cookies is also taken into account in addition to the Cookies themselves.

The period of storage of the record in a tool. It depends on the initial settings of the Cookie, which were set by the Bank or its partner, as well as on its subsequent modifications. Purposes of data processing

The purposes for which the Processing of Cookies used on the Bank’s Website is performed can be categorized as follows:
