KBC Bank Bulgaria and UBB united under the name United Bulgarian Bank (UBB)

On 10th of April 2023, UBB and KBC Bank Bulgaria officially united after the re-organization of KBC Bank Bulgaria EAD, through its merger into United Bulgarian Bank AD, was entered in the Commercial Register. The legal merger is the next step in the integration of the two banks after the Belgian KBC Group acquired the business of Raiffeisen Bank International in Bulgaria in the summer of 2022.

The process of the technical integration of UBB and present KBC Bank Bulgaria is underway. Until its finalization, our branch network, corporate website and the digital channels of the up-to-now KBC Bank Bulgaria will have a special symbol next to UBB logo. At this stage, clients do not need to take any actions and will continue to be serviced as until now. We will inform you about any future changes.

    If you’ve never used KBC Online Bulgaria or KBC Mobile Bulgaria until now

    • Download and install KBC Mobile Bulgaria from Google Play, AppGallery or App Store.
    • Make a registration in KBC Mobile Bulgaria with Registration button using your personal Bulgarian ID number and phone number provided in the Bank.
    • Enter SMS code for confirmation and set username and password.
    • Visit our branch for setting banking rights.

    Login in KBC Mobile Bulgaria, if you have registration in KBC Online Bulgaria. You use the same username and password to access the service.

    • All it takes is a few steps to initiate BGN or foreign currency transfers worth up to BGN 5000.
    • When the money is going to one of your other accounts with the bank, you can initiate transfers of up to EUR 15,000 or the BGN equivalence without SMS or token verification.
    • Select and initiate transfers using templates saved in KBC Mobile Bulgaria or KBC Online Bulgaria.

    How to activate KBC Mobile Bulgaria

    All you need to use the mobile app is to be a registered user of KBC Online Bulgaria. You use the same username and password to access the service.

    If you did not register for internet and mobile banking in our branch, you can do it online via KBC Mobile Bulgaria.
